Thanks for your question, Shaggy. Yes, go right a head and exercise, run, lift weights or anything with 5 hour energy drinks. A few caveats - if you are under 18 or over 50, unhealthy, at risk for heart attack, etc. you should not take energy shots, period. But for a healthy adult, there is no problem. Actually it has been proven that energy shots can increase short term performance, and speaking from experience, I've found it easier to run the regular 10k fun runs I do.
A noticeable difference when you take a 5 hour energy drink and exercise that it is common for the energy shot to only last during the workout, and wear off faster, or not even work much after the workout. This is because the increased performance releases endorphins quicker, and the increased heart beat, sweating, etc. releases the chemicals of the drink quicker from the body, making them last not as long.
In conclusion we recommend energy shots for healthy adults during or before working out. It is not recommended every time though unless you are working every other day.
