Glad you asked. This is the misconception and the word we are trying to spread about energy drinks versus energy shots. There is a difference! The big name energy drinks

What defines an energy shot?
Usually an energy shot is 2 ounces or less(there are a few that are 2.5 - 3 ounces, but they are pushing the shot category), has caffeine and energy vitamins(such as b-12, taurine, guarana), and is marketed to give you energy.
What's the biggest name brand?
The brand that started it all is 5 hour energy. They claim no sugar, 5 hours of energy, and no crash. No there are hundreds of imitators, but 5 hour energy has stayed on top. We recommend 5 hour energy: Extra Strength for the ultimate jolt, but for many regular 5 hour energy is enough.
What are some other good brands?
Other good brands include Amp Energy Shot(not the energy drink), Mana Potion(find it at Hot Topic or online), and Nitro2go.
What ones should I avoid?
There are many decent no name brands out there, but we highly recommend you stay away from 6 Hour Power, 7 Hour Energy Shot, and anyone that claims a rediculous amount of up time.
In conclusion AVOID ALL ENERGY DRINKS, and stick just to the shots. DRINKS have tons of sugar, caffeine and guarana at almost dangerous levels that will make you crash and FAT. SHOTS - Most have no sugar, no calories, and a combination of a smaller amount of caffeine, but mostly use beneficial energy vitamins such as B-12 and taurine and ginseng. No crash.
